The Kobe Effect has definitely changed the minds of some of the most influential people in hip hop. Both 50 Cent and T.I. have stated they will be making some changes to how they treat people and learn to appreciate those closer to them more, thanks to the legacy Kobe Bryant left behind. I guess that means, no more trolling and bullying from the “Petty Prince” 50 Cent and T.I. will focus on being loyal and more attentive to his bride (I’m saying this in my Tip voice). Good for you!
The late, great Kobe Bryant will be inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame. The news came shortly after investigators of the horrific helicopter crash site revealed there was no black box found in the wreckage; indicating it may not have had one on the aircraft. It’s been confirmed that Bryant was the first-ballot enshrinment to be inducted alongside Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
It’s also been reported, Gianna Bryant, Kobe’s 13 year old daughter who also perished in the crash, will be named an honorary member of the University of Connecticut Huskey Women’s Basketball team. This is something “Gi Gi” has always dreamed of.
LA Lakers Foward, LeBron James finally found the strength to share a heartfelt message to his good friend and brother, Kobe Bryant. He took to social media saying how hard this was for him to accept and that he’ll carry the team they way Kobe would want. Here’s some of what James had to say “Literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA,” he wrote. “Didn’t think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we’d have.” Click here for more.
