Long story short, word on the curb is Harvey’s going to jail! The center of the #MeTooMovement, disgraced movie producer, Harvey Weinstein was found guilty on 2 of the 5 counts of sexual assault and rape (something like that, but either way it goes, he’s going to prison).
Former Empire star, Jussie Smollet pleades not guilty (again) for the 6 new charges against him claiming he lied to police and disturbed the peace (didn’t mean for that to rhyme).
Today, we said farewell to a few known pioneers in sports, aeronautics and business.
Laker Nation finally said goodbye to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a public memorial service. Performances by Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Christina Milian soothed the audience of fans, friends, players and family; including his wife, Vanessa. The ceremony was extremely painful to watch but nothing compared to what they’re feeling right now.
NASA Mathmatician, and the real inspiration behind the movie “Hidden Figures”, Katherine Johnson died at the age of 101.
We also said goodbye to fashion model and restauranteur, B. Smith who passed away after losing her battle with early onset Alzheimers.
