A few years ago, I had the pleasure of “chopping it up” with a very talented actor and comedian who has no problem making everyone in the building (on our floor) very uncomfortable. Little did I (we) know, he was chopping us DOWN!
Marlon Wayans is not shy from the camera nor is he one to hide behind anything that looks out of place. In his last visit at WAMO 100 (Pittsburgh), while promoting his Improv show, he filmed our lobby which was the subject of jokes, puns, shade, and uncomfortable criticism. He meant no harm but hell if it didn’t kick us in the gut.

Fast forward two years later, we replaced the old rug, we painted the walls and even added a few studios. So when the comedian walked in, he quickly remembered where he was and was ready to go!
It wasn’t as bad as it was last time (we had a small mess because we were preparing for a station promotion the next day).
I tried to take his attention off of the many distractions in our studio and boy was that difficult.

(Sidenote: I believe this was days before comedian John Witherspoon passed away.)
(whew!) We got through that one! Thank you, Jesus!
